Frame
The new aerodynamically-contoured upper section of the racquet head reduces air resistance, and allows a crisp follow through. It also gives the ideal amount of head flex to store the power and hit the ball with maximum speed.

"Matrix C60" for lighter and higher repulsion power.
Yonex uses a combination of 0.7-nanometer fullerene carbon fibres and 7-micrometer carbon fibres, taking advantage of the fullerene fibres’ unique ability to form a high-quality molecular bond with the carbon fibres. The Yonex nanoscience process concentrates more fibres in the lower third of the head and throat to provide the ideal stiffness for high stability, high repulsion and maximum return of energy to the ball.
The channel at the side of the shaft is a new structure to prevent torque at impact. This channel helps to make a thinner but stiffer frame, so full power is transferred directly to the ball.

10% larger sweet spot than conventional round head shape racquets.
The ISOMETRIC square head shape is formed by reducing the dead space found in a conventional round frame, whilst keeping the sweet spot the same size. As a result, the racquet is easier to swing through and has superior manoeuvrability.
Where the longest main and longest cross strings meet in the string-bed is known as the sweet spot. In conventional racquets, the sweet spot is the area where 8 main and 11 cross strings meet. However, with the YONEX ISOMETRIC square head shape, 10 main strings meet 13 cross to produce a larger sweet spot. This equates to a 10% larger sweet spot than conventional round head shape racquets.

With the RDS series is the soft grommet located at the 4 corners of the frame. These grommets are designed to reduce the shock from any off-centre hits, widening the sweet spot still further. |

| "Elastic Ti" is the world's first nanoscale alloy that combines extremely low elasticity and high strength. It was previously thought to be impossible to achieve this with an alloy.
Elastic Ti has 44% lower elasticity and 8% higher strength compared to the previous best titanium alloy.
Racquets featuring Elastic Ti will snap-back quicker than conventional racquets to give higher repulsion power with accurate resiliency for improved face stability. These two effects mean that greater ball speed and control are realized.

By combining a specially manufactured metallic powder with the grommet, the unnecessary vibration and sound at impact will be reduced, and only positive feel will be directly filtered through to your hand.

YONEX has widened the front width of the shaft by 14% compared with an ordinary racquet. This width advantage increases the racquet's ability to provide high repulsion power and manoeuvrability and to generate solid stable hits at full swing.

Solid feel - greater mass maximizes frame stability
for a solid feel, power and control.
The metal hybrid material has a mass ten-times-greater than H.M. Graphite and maximizes racquet stability. More stability provides more power and consistent control.
|
New "Hexagon Cross Section" is for solid feel and nimble manoeuvrability.
By uniting box and triangular shape sections, a solid feeling at impact has been realized by providing better head speed and manoeuvrability.
|
| The cushioned underside layer of the YONEX Super Cushion Grip reduces vibration, further enhancing the soft feel at impact provided by Shockless Grommets. Cushioning performance also helps protect the wrist, arm and elbow against shock-related injuries. |
Head twist
YONEX Titanium Mesh's low torque performance minimizes racquet head twisting at impact and increases stability & control on off-centre shots.
|
More spin - OPS balances stability and flex, and extends dwell time for more spin.
OPS (Oval Pressed Shaft) technology provides the right amount of flex at the throat for a longer dwell time, more spin and pinpoint accuracy.
|
Grommets on the side and bottom of the frame absorb shock to provide a soft feel on impact, helping protect the wrist, arm and elbow against shock-induced injures and minimize muscle fatigue in long play. |
High stability - a greater moment of inertia on the face amplifies power and control.
IPS(Integrated Power Weight System) positions extra weight at 3 and 9 O'clock on the frame, giving the face of the frame a greater moment of inertia. The IPS construction translates into minimum torque within the frame for maximum stability, energy transfer and control.
