The Yonex stringing team for the 2004 Olympics in Athens2004 consisted of three stringers from England, Mark Lawrence, Tim Willis and Andy Gudgeon. As countries started arriving in Greece from 1 August, stringing services were also required from that date. Over the three weeks, over 600 racquets were strung.
More Data on the work done is available on this website (see below or navigation at left). The highest tension strung was for Jens Eriksen. BG80 (yellow) strung at 36lb in MP100 racquets (top six grommets all sleeved)
We took lots of photos - racquets, players, at work, at play etc. and you will also find a selection of photos taken during February at the Olympics warmup.
